Entry is open to mixed amateur partnerships who are both members of the same club, affiliated to the Leeds & District Union of Golf Clubs, and who both hold a WHS Handicap Index.
The handicap limits are 24.0 for Gentlemen & 36.0 for Ladies any Gentleman player with a Handicap Index greater than 24.0 will be limited to 24.0 and any Lady player with a Handicap Index greater than 36.0 will be limited to 36.0. The handicap allowance is 85% of their course handicap (CH) to give their Playing Handicap for the competition. In order to win a prize a player must have submitted a minimum of four fully completed club competition 18-hole round scores acceptable for WHS proposes in the 12 months before the day of the competition.
