LEEDS & DISTRICT UNION of GOLF CLUBS
Cookridge Hall players Bailey Hird (144) and Nathan Ali (148) produce the best aggregate score of 292 in the first two qualifying rounds of the Yorkshire Amateur Championship to win the Inter District Plate for Leeds & District Union. They played excellent golf to be 4 strokes clear of York and Halifax/Huddersfield in joint second place.
Both players continued to challenge for the individual title and Bailey Hird lost in a tense 3 hole playoff to finish runner up with a score of 293 with Nathan Ali posting the lowest score of the Championship (68) to finish third. A great result for our Leeds team players.
