Leeds Strokeplay Champion 2025 crowned at Garforth.
Cookridge members, Bailey Hird and Alfie storer tied at Garforth after 18 holes with 2 under par scores of 68. As two of the earliest starters in the morning they had to wait until late afternoon for the last player to come in before returning to the course to play a 3 hole strokeplay playoff.
Bailey prevailed by 2 strokes and received the John Keightley Trophy as champion. Congratulations to both players on their excellent performances.
Neil Smith (Headingley), playing off 5 handicap, posted the best nett score of 69 to prevent Bailey Hird, playing off +3, taking both the Gross and Nett Trophies. Neil was presented with the John Robshaw Trophy.
