Round 2 of The Copier Company Junior Order of Merit was held at Woolley Park Golf Club on 16th June. A torrential downpour at lunch time did not deter the 16 competitors vying for the coveted Coper Company Golf Bags.
In the Gross competition Ben Waite (Low Laithes) continued his fine early season form to card a gross 80 to gain maximum Order of Merit (OOM) points. Ben was 6 strokes clear of Josiah Stockill (Wike Ridge) and Grace Gill (Garforth).
Matthew Birch (Woolley Park) carded a great score of 73 to win the Net event from club mate Frediie Linfoot (74) and Ben Waite (77).
Round 3 of the OOM is the Union's Junior Strokeplay Championship to be held at Normanton on 7th July. Enter via your club.
